Content
Written for the posting you paste in

Upload your CV and paste a job posting. The Studio writes the content for that role, scores it against the posting, and lays it out in Deedy.

How Deedy is laid out

Deedy's header sets three things side by side on a one-column A4 page: your name, with the first name light and the surname bold, a right-aligned stack of contact details, and your summary in a narrow block. Under a blue rule, sections follow with blue capital headings, and entries list the title in slate grey, the employer beneath and the dates on the right, separated by faint lines.

Who it suits

  • Engineers and data scientists who like the Deedy name treatment but need a single column
  • Engineering students and graduates with internships and projects to list
  • Applicants who can sum themselves up in one or two lines

Good to know

  • This is a single-column adaptation rather than the two-column LaTeX original, and there is no .tex file to download.
  • Your summary shares the header row with your name and contact details, so keep it to two or three short lines; a long summary turns into a tall, narrow column.
  • The contact stack covers email, phone, location and website only, and degrees appear without grades.
